Health Screening

Health Screening

At Gryphon Medical, we are dedicated to meeting your health care needs with our commitment to comprehensive full body check-ups, ensuring you receive a thorough and holistic assessment of your health.

After screening, our doctors will personally review your results with you. We will follow up on your health conditions, coordinate your care with subsidized hospitals or private specialists, and offer relevant lifestyle advice as necessary through either telemedicine or in-person reviews.

No fasting is required for our health screening packages. Non-Fasting tests are just as accurate, and studies have shown no significant differences between fasted and non-fasted blood cholesterol. Diabetes screening is done using the HbA1c test.

Tell me moreFrequently Asked Questions

What Is The Purpose Of a Health Screening?

Health screening involves conducting tests to find diseases or conditions in individuals who show no symptoms.
The goal is to detect illnesses early, improving the chances of successful treatment. By identifying health issues sooner, we can achieve better outcomes and potentially lower treatment costs.

How Often Should I Do a Health Screening?

It is generally advised to undergo routine screenings for conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol once every one to three years.
The frequency of health screenings depends on one’s age, health history, and specific risk factors. For those with higher risks, more frequent screenings may be recommended to ensure early detection and management.

Am I Required to Fast for My Health Screening?

You are NOT required to fast.

Studies have shown that there are no significant differences in cholesterol level when fasting, and we test for Diabetes using HbA1c.

What if I’m Having My Menstrual Period on the Day of My Appointment?

Please notify our staff if you are menstruating on the day of your health screening.
It is recommended to schedule your appointment for 10-14 days after the start of your last period. Although you can proceed with the screening as planned, be aware that menstruation may affect the results of the CA125 tumor marker and may also cause the presence of blood in the urine or stool.
